François Lalonde, Ph.D., Exercise Physiologist, Osteopath, and Kinesiologist, Co-founder

François is passionate about health, training, discovery, self-improvement, and reading. With his extensive education and experience, he has developed a unique health approach tailored to the specific needs of his patients and athletes. Known for his curiosity, he enjoys discussing a wide range of topics.
François holds a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology from the University of Montreal. His doctoral thesis focused on the effects of ischemic preconditioning in the context of sports performance and rehabilitation. He also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at CRCHUM and UQAM, working on various projects, including tracking amateur triathletes preparing for a Half-Ironman.
Additionally, he has a diploma in osteopathy, a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, a short program diploma in entrepreneurship, and is currently completing a master’s degree in health sciences education.
He is an active member of the Quebec Federation of Kinesiologists, the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy Quebec, the Quebec Association of Sports & Exercise Medicine, and the Triathlon Coach Certification Program. With over thirty-five published scientific articles, François frequently speaks at various conferences and congresses. Beyond academia, he has pursued numerous professional development courses. He recently completed a Clinical Fellowship with Functional Movement Systems and participated in La Clinique du Coureur's Adventure 3.0 in Kenya.
François brings a rich and diverse professional background. He is an invited professor responsible for osteopathy teaching and training at the Department of Physical Activity Sciences at UQAM. He is also a Community NCCP Coach Educator for Triathlon Québec. He has worked as an Exercise Physiologist for astronaut David Saint-Jacques during his latest mission aboard the International Space Station, which gave him a cutting-edge perspective on health prevention and training technologies. Additionally, he has served as a Kinesiologist-Researcher for the National Defense and as the Head Coach of the CISM Long-Distance Team.
In addition to his professional achievements, François has a strong entrepreneurial spirit. He co-founded Trifort Triathlon Club, Chambly Triathlon, and Axeso, the first scientific osteopathy congress. All of these experiences led him to co-found The Athlete Factory, where he now serves as Head of Sports Science, Training & Research.
As an athlete, François has participated in over two hundred sports events, mainly in endurance sports, including triathlon (road, winter, and XTERRA), road and trail running, the Pentathlon des Neiges, cross-country skiing, obstacle course racing, and adventure racing. He has also competed in RxNation and Hyrox competitions. He practiced rock climbing for five years and currently enjoys combining CrossFit training with short-distance triathlon.
Georges Gay, B.A.A., Co-founder

Georges Gay is a key figure in the Quebec triathlon community. As a coach, official, and triathlete, he excels in sharing his technical and practical expertise in swimming, running, and cycling. His unique approach to physical and strategic preparation, tailored for both short- and long-distance triathlons, has made him a sought-after and highly respected coach.
As a leader with over 30 years of experience in strategic management, product development, and marketing communications within financial institutions, advertising agencies, and consulting firms, Georges brings exceptional depth to his projects. He seamlessly blends visionary leadership with an unwavering passion for triathlon.
Georges' athletic journey began at an early age. He quickly distinguished himself as an outstanding athlete, joining the collegiate basketball ranks while still in his fourth year of high school. He continued his athletic rise in AAA college football, where he consistently stood out for his performances and strong team spirit.
At just 18 years old, Georges demonstrated his leadership by founding his first football school, FootBase, where he shared his passion for the sport and trained future generations of athletes. These early experiences also led him to coach football and basketball teams before fully dedicating himself to triathlon—a sport where he found his true calling.
Since 2018, Georges has served as Vice President of the Board of Directors at Triathlon Québec. He is also the Race Director for the LaSalle Triathlon, Regional Coordinator for the Quebec Games in Montreal and Bourassa, Triathlon Program Manager at Collège Sainte-Anne, and Head Coach of the Club Élite Triathlon. His numerous responsibilities reflect his deep commitment to the growth of the sport and his dedication to making a lasting impact on the triathlon community. In recognition of his exceptional dedication and expertise, he was named 2021 Coach of the Year in the Age Group (Adult) category.
Georges' relentless pursuit of excellence is evident in his numerous certifications. He is in the process of completing his Advanced Coaching Diploma (DAE) at the Institut National du Sport and holds NCCP certifications in triathlon, endurance running, and swimming. He is also a Pose Method of Running specialist and has completed additional training in biomechanics and injury prevention. Always eager to expand his knowledge, he ensures that the latest scientific breakthroughs are integrated into his coaching approach to maximize athlete performance.
Georges’ philosophy is built on a clear and ambitious vision: to provide personalized coaching for athletes of all levels, to continuously refine his expertise in multisport coaching, and to incorporate cutting-edge scientific advancements to optimize every aspect of performance.

Mathieu Brisebois-Boies, B.Sc.
Kinesiologist, Co-founder
Head of Laboratory & Clinical Services
Mathieu Brisebois-Boies is a dedicated professional in the field of exercise science and is currently pursuing a master's degree in kinesiology. Holding a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from UQAM, he has extensive experience in personalized training, scientific research, and university teaching. His research focuses on sports performance analysis, with significant contributions in areas such as triathlon, cycling, and weightlifting.
Throughout his career, Mathieu has collaborated with elite athletes and national teams, developing personalized training plans and utilizing advanced tools such as biomechanics and data analysis. He is also an active lecturer and mentor, sharing his expertise with kinesiology students and aspiring professionals.
Versatile and highly detail-oriented, Mathieu excels in communication, analysis, and athlete support, whether in high-performance training or academic research. His scientific approach and dedication to innovation make him a key figure in optimizing athletic performance and advancing sports science.
